I get it that it allows to screen a large number of candidates, but I have failed countless Hackerranks from shit companies who expect you to solve 3 Leetcode hards in 60 mins that I doubt it's a very good way of weeding candidates. The benefit to using the companies their challenge other than the public ones is because you will do some that companies will actually ask and if you do well in your 'practice', they'll send you an invite.
