5700 vs 5700xt reddit. The 2060 was too much of a downgrade and the 2080S was definitely in a different price tier. Honestly, the 6600xt and 6650xt have come down in price so go for one of those those 2 are better than (obviously) 6600 and 5700xt. IMO the 5700xt gets really hot and loud and while my 6600xt stay chill and quiet all the time due to lower power draw from the new gen architecture. So I am looking at the Ryzen 7 5700. Also why aren't you considering the 2060 super vs the 5700xt. . Coming from a Vega 56 and selling it for 285 should I upgrade to the Rx 5700 xt or just go with the base 5700? Archived post. 6600xt, any day. As for the XT, it is a solid card, I use a Pulse 5700XT on my personal rig. I would personally save the money and get a Pulse 5700 but then again I am a little bias. Or am I confusing things, is the 5700 (non-X) OEM only or what? I came here because where I live I got an offer to trade my 5700 xt (Powercolor Red Devil version) with a 7600 (Powercolor HellHound version), but checking on your responses, I think we will be fine for a couple more years, until something noticeabily cheaper and faster comes. what about the windows thing, that's a new one for me, is it just the drivers or is there other problems? Not including the 2070S in this review is a bit disappointing especially when there are so many other cards that didn't have to be there. I had 2 different 5700xt ( Xfx thicc 2 & powercolor red Devil) and a 6600xt now ( sapphire nitro+) and I say go for the 6600. /r/AMD is community run and does not represent AMD in any capacity unless specified. Is there a tangible difference between the 5700 and 5700X? If you google a versus of these two, majority of the results are the G vs X (which the G is not really something Im looking at), I haven't really found a proper X vs Non-X. They are both similar price and performance while the 2070 is $100 more and not much increase to performance. The 5700 with the game bundle is literally cheaper than a 5600XT (you can sell those games on some subreddit or wherever you want) The 5700XT has slightly better performance than the 6600 but has double the power draw, larger memory bus, bandwidth, more shading units, higher base clock The 6600 has RDNA2, higher boost clock, only needs 1 8 pin power connector, and was launched later than the 5700XT so it gets longer support I presume. 6600 vr 5700xt, the difference is basically what better deal you can get for the price. I heard that the 5700xt had driver issues and it was a big thing. can't really find any comparison between the two, but i found each card compared against the 3060, and the 5700xt always beats the 3060 while the 6600 xt is close to it, so if we are talking pure performance thermals and power aside, Which one is better? take into consideration that the 5700 xt is 30$ cheaper. 5700xt drivers are still buggier than rdna2 and there's no reason to buy one for gaming. A 5700 is a solid 1440 gaming card and a really good value. 2060S vs 5700XT vs 2070S was the real decision back then for many who had $400-500 to spend on the GPU. Welcome to /r/AMD — the subreddit for all things AMD; come talk about Ryzen, Radeon, Zen4, RDNA3, EPYC, Threadripper, rumors, reviews, news and more. If you compared those two it would come down to if you like gsync and better drivers or radeon image sharpening, and radeon anti-lag.
